Themes of biblical history: the experience of the hermeneutic reading

Abstract

A comprehensive reflection of the religious ideas of reincarnation and resurrection is
exercised by the author. A methodological principle of philosophical hermeneutics in reading
and interpretation of the Holy Scripture in the context of the identified ideas is applied. Under
the point of view of the presented interpretations, biblical stories reveal the deepest layers
of its content; it becomes possible to not only reconsider the basic religious ideas, but also
to expand worldview horizons (secular and religious) in their perception and presentation.
In understanding of the theme the principles of academic religious studies (objectivity,
polymethodic, etc) with non-confessional, ideological priorities are applied.
