Abstract

From the positions of social constructionism the psychological and historical transformations
of ritual behavior in the context of religiosity are analyzed. Their features in the historical
figuring of ritual behavior as a regular practice which has the regular rhythmic are viewed.
Based on the analysis of theoretical approaches and results of empirical studies within four
directions of ritual studies, it was established that individual ritual behavior is represented
by continuum of social stable behavior forms. It is shown that they can differ according to
the character of iteration, that demonstrates continuous rhythm of ritual and ritual-household
behavior, its figurative nature. Number of relational markers of ritual morphogenesis, namely
recurrence, frequency, recursion, perturbation are determined. It is suggested that these markers
demonstrate basic types of rhythm of psychological and historical figuration of individual ritual
behavior within the traditional, modern and postmodern religiosity and are fit to describe its
main historical figurations.
