INFLUENCE OF LITERARY SOURCES ON DEVELOPMENT OF PROMINENT FEATURES OF THE UKRAINIAN ICONOGRAPHY OF XV–XVI CENTURIES

Abstract

It is investigated process of formation and development of Old Russian literary
tradition. It is considered a literature role in formation of specific features
Old Russian and Ukrainian icon - painting traditions. Influence of a literary
heritage of the Ukrainian humanists on formation of prominent features of the
Ukrainian iconography is analysed.
