Abstract

The latest challenges facing Christianity in the 21st century are characterized.
Attention is paid to gender ideology and juvenile court. Categorical definitions
of the concept of “gender” are analyzed. Attention is drawn to the double
interpretation of the term, which often is perceived by researchers as a struggle
for citizenship and human rights, respect for civic equality. It is noted that recently
the concept of “gender” is actively included in the Ukrainian legislation, as well
as in the educational and scientific spheres. The attitude of Ukrainian churches
and public figures to the spread of juvenile court system is presented. Examples
of dangerous manifestations of juvenile court in a number of European countries
are given. The opinion of some Ukrainian officials and scholars suggests that
juvenile court should be considered in the context of protecting children in the criminal process. The author argues that gender ideology and juvenile court are
not democratizing, but desacralizing society.
