TWO WAVES OF DISSOLUTION OF THE BASILIAN MONASTERIES IN THE RUSSIAN EMPIRE ON THE EXAMPLE OF RIGHT-BANK UKRAINE

Abstract

The article shows the main events of the Russian government regarding Basilian monasteries after the second and third division partition of Polish. Displaying the main
aspects of the imperial policy which gradually and forcibly liquidation the Basilian monasteries. Shown the number and sequence of dissolution of these monasteries in Ukrainian lands.
