ABOUT THE QUESTION OF ATTRIBUTION OF THE L’VIV ALABASTER STATUE OF THE MADONNA AND CHILD (FROM COLLECTIONS OF THE L’VIV MUSEUM OF THE HISTORY OF RELIGION)
Abstract
It is clamed, that prominent “Hyacinth’s Madonna (Madonna Jackowа)”,
alabaster statue Madonna and Child, which had been one the most adorated
relics of the Dominican Church in L’viv, weren’t moved to Krakow in 1946. It has
been left in L’viv and still kept in the L’viv Museum of the History of Religion.
