The processes of institutionalization and inter-confessional relations in Ukrainian Protestantism (the end of 20 th - the beginning of 21 st century)

Abstract

The essence of the process of institutionalization and the nature of inter-confessional
relations among the Ukrainian Protestant associations (late 20 ^th - early 21 ^th century) are
revealed. Based on a comprehensive analysis of documents, theological literature, works of
Soviet and modern researchers’ activities of Churches of Evangelical Christians-Baptists
and Evangelical Christians (Pentecostals) in the first post-Soviet decade are studied.
Researchers determine the nature of the dynamics of development of these confessions
and principles on which the Ukrainian Protestantism entered the new millennium.
