The Baltic mythology in Latvian and Lithuanian language historiography of the 20 century

Abstract

Historiographical works of Brastynsh E., W. J. Storost, Trynkunas, N. Veljus on Baltic
mythology and its role in the formation of national consciousness and national revival in the
twentieth century, in particular in the aspect of pre-Christian religious worldview and in the
context of European culture, are analyzed.
