Correlations between innovations and canon in the iconography of sainthood in the first third of the 20 c. (on the example of wall painting in Eastern Galicia)

Abstract

The monumental paintings of the most common image and respected saints of different
Christian denominations that existed in Eastern Galicia in the first third of the 20 c. are analyzed.
The characteristic traits of artistic and stylistic image features of murals are discovered in their
nation creation and culture-oriented perspective.
