The parish school at St. Sampson church in Poltava

Abstract

The historical experience of the activity of the parish school at St. Sampson church in the
field of Poltava battle at the end of 19 th – at the beginning of 20 th century is analyzed. It was
focused on the educational significance of the school and its contribution to formation of
Christian values among adolescents and their parents.
