The history of ancient cults and individual pages of church life of the 17th – early 20th centuries are studied, the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Autocephalous and Greek Catholic Churches under the Soviet regime are analyzed, the role of Moscow Orthodoxy as one of the causes of the Russian-Ukrainian war is shown. A philosophical and theological interpretation of religiosity is carried out.
